Family stay
For a family holiday, we offer several fun or sporting activities for adults and children:
- The Odyssey of Chartres, one of the largest aquatic complexes in France.
- The Rambolitrain Museum in Rambouillet, with over 4,000 pieces in its toy train and model railway collection, traces the history of the railway from its beginnings to the present day. Breathtaking!
- The National Sheepfold in Rambouillet or the Renaissance Educational Farm in Chartres will allow you to discover farm animals in their natural environment, to feed them and to milk them.
- For thrill-seekers, check out No Limit Aventure park near Dreux. Paintball, treetop adventure courses, treasure hunts, laser tag, and many other activities in this 15-hectare park will allow adults and children alike to let loose and experience intense emotions.

Centre-Val de Loire
Versailles
Just 45 minutes from Ferme de Bouchemont, don’t miss the magnificent Palace of Versailles, the official residence of the Kings of France and one of the most illustrious monuments of world heritage. From the Palace with its famous Hall of Mirrors to the Trianon, the Royal Stables, and the magnificent French-style gardens designed by Le Nôtre, you won’t have enough time in a single day to soak up all the history!
Rambouillet
Come and stroll through the Rambouillet Forest and enjoy its trails and cycle paths.
The Espace Rambouillet, a wildlife and forest park, invites you to immerse yourself in the heart of the forest and encounter animals in their natural habitat. Enjoy a variety of sporting, recreational, and educational activities to discover the forest from within. End your day in the grounds of the Château de Rambouillet or at one of its many restaurants.
Chartres
Chartres, nicknamed the capital of light and perfume, remains the closest major city to La Ferme de Bouchemont (25 minutes).
Take a stroll along the banks of the Eure River or wander through the narrow streets of its historic quarter and enjoy its many restaurants.
Don’t miss its magnificent cathedral, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The magic of Chartres en Lumières will illuminate your evenings from April to October.
And you can enjoy street entertainment (concerts, shows, etc.) every evening in July and August.
Maintenon
Come and discover the Château de Maintenon and its splendid French-style garden in the heart of the Eure-et-Loir region, just 25 minutes from us. Immerse yourself in the history of Madame de Maintenon, wife of Louis XIV, at this magnificent château, which offers original and fun tours and activities for the whole family throughout the year.
